By visiting our website or buying something from us, you’re engaging in our “Service” and agreeing to the following terms. Think of this as the rules of the road—they keep things running smoothly for everyone.


1. The Basics

  • Age: By using this site, you are telling us that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province.

  • Respect: You agree not to use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. Please don’t transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.

  • Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We are a friendly business, and we want to keep it that way.

2. The Gear (Accuracy & Colors)

We do our absolute best to make sure the photos on our website look exactly like the bag you will receive. However, we use natural materials like waxed canvas and genuine leather.

  • Natural Variation: Leather has grain, marks, and texture. Canvas takes wax differently in different batches. These aren’t flaws; they are proof that the materials are real.

  • Screens: Computer monitors and phone screens are all calibrated differently. The “Olive Drab” might look slightly greener on your phone than it does in real life.

  • Typos: We are humans. If we accidentally list a bag for $1.00 instead of $100.00, we reserve the right to cancel that order and apologize profusely rather than go bankrupt.

3. Pricing & Modifications

The world changes, and sometimes prices do too.

  • Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

  • We reserve the right to discontinue a product at any time (though we hate doing it!).

4. Intellectual Property (Please Don’t Steal)

We work hard to create our designs, take our photos, and write our descriptions.

  • Everything on this site—the images, the logo, the text—belongs to Canvas Gear.

  • You are welcome to share our photos on social media (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) if you are showing off the gear or telling a friend about us.

  • You are not allowed to copy our photos or text to use on your own website or to sell your own products. That’s not cool.

5. Third-Party Links

Sometimes we might link to other websites (like a guide on how to wax your canvas). We are not responsible for what happens on those other sites. They have their own rules.


6. Limitation of Liability

We build tough bags, but we can’t control the universe.

  • Canvas Gear is not liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct/indirect damages arising from your use of our products.

  • Example: If you put your laptop in our bag and then drop the bag off a cliff, we will feel terrible about your laptop, but we aren’t responsible for replacing it.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service generally are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
