Keep the product in its original packaging along with all documents confirming the purchase and refund. You will need this for further communication with the seller and the payment system.
Do not put it in the washing machine! It will strip the wax and ruin the leather. Just use a damp cloth and cold water to wipe off any dirt. For the full guide, check our Care Guide.
It is highly water-resistant, which is different from "waterproof." If you get caught in a rainstorm or splash water on it, the water will bead up and roll right off. However, if you throw the bag in a swimming pool, water will eventually get in. It’s perfect for rain, snow, and spills, but not for scuba diving.
Absolutely. In fact, we recommend it. Every year or two, you might want to refresh the wax to keep it water-tight. You can buy a tin of canvas wax (like Otter Wax or Martexin), warm it up with a hair dryer, and rub it in. It’s a satisfying Sunday afternoon project.
