Return & Refund Policy
The Short Version: We want you to love your gear. If you don’t, we’ll help you send it back. We aren’t a giant corporation, just a team of people making bags, so we treat every return personally.
30-Day “No Worries” Window
Sometimes you order something online, open the box, and realize it’s just not quite what you pictured. Maybe the color is different than your screen showed, or it’s bigger than you thought.
It happens. We get it.
You have 30 days from the day your bag arrives to decide if it’s right for you. If it’s not, you can send it back for a refund.
The Condition (Keep it Clean)
To get a full refund, we just ask for one thing: Please treat the bag with respect while you have it.
We can only accept returns if the item is:

Unused and unwashed.

In the same condition you received it.

Still has the original tags attached.
If you took it on a week-long hike through the mud or your cat used it as a scratching post, we can’t resell it, so we can’t accept it back. If you’re just trying it on at home to see how it fits in the mirror, that’s perfect.
How to Start a Return

Email Us: Send a note to support@canvasgear.com with your order number. You don’t need a lawyer to write this email—just tell us you want to return it.

Pack it Up: Put the bag back in the box (or a similar sturdy box).

Ship it Back: We will send you the address.

Note: Since we are a small independent brand, you are responsible for the return shipping cost unless we made a mistake (like sending you the wrong bag). We recommend using a shipping method with a tracking number so the bag doesn’t get lost in the mail.

When Do I Get My Money?
Once your return lands at our shop, we’ll take a quick look to make sure everything is in order.

If it looks good, we’ll process your refund immediately to your original payment method.

Please remember that banks and credit card companies can be slow. It usually takes 5–10 business days for the money to actually show up in your account after we send it.
Defects & Issues
We build these bags to last, and we check every single zipper and stitch before it goes out. But we are humans, not robots.
If you receive a bag that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will fix it on our dime.

Email us photos of the issue right away.

We will send you a prepaid shipping label to return it.

We will either send you a brand new replacement or give you a full refund—whichever you prefer.
Exchanges
Want to swap the “Field Tan” for the “Olive Drab”? The fastest way to do this is to simply return the first bag for a refund, and go ahead and buy the new one whenever you’re ready. This way, the new bag gets to you faster!
